We had a good group run this Saturday with 4 runners...I hope we can run with more of you this Saturday.

Week 7

It is Tuesday night so i assume most of you have completed your 1st 2 runs of the week. The mileage is starting to add up now but I hope you are seeing a lot of progress. We had a great long run downtown this weekend we would really love to have more of you join us this Saturday morning. Who would be interested in coming? The marathoners will be running 10 miles but many of you who are running shorter distances can run part of that 10 with us we would really appreciate the company!

All Half Marathoners

Monday: 3 miles
Tuesday: 2.5 miles
Wednesday: 3 miles
Thursday: 2.75 miles
Saturday: 3 miles

Week 6 Training

I hope everyone's 2012 is off to a great start. If you haven't registered for the race I would suggest you do so as soon as possible. This half marathon usually fills up pretty far in advance. If you are running the marathon you probably have a little more time but why not sign up now and solidify your plans.

Here is your week 6 schedule.

New Half marathoners (this is a fun week for you)

Warm Up! Then jog 2* miles 4 to 6 days. (*Yes, cut back, let your body consolidate it's gains).

Experienced Half Marathoners

Do at least 2 miles 4 days this week try and add 1 3 miler and start doing some hill work. Nashville isn't flat.
